| Customized Development
and Implementation
The Requirement Definition Document (RDD) and rough-cut project
plan form the basis for a detailed activity planning. This
involves estimating the work quantum, preparing System Requirement
Specification (SRS) and identifying the milestones along the
path of deliverables.
Then a detailed project plan is prepared (to the extent of
scope of the assignment) which includes time schedule for
development of modules, resources deployment of man, material,
delivery, team etc, unit testing of each module, integration
testing, conference room piloting, implementation plan and
contingency plan. While planning stage, great care is taken
to adhere to the processes and practices of SDLC.
Once detailed project plan is in place, a formal Project
Launch meeting is held with client's project co-ordination
team wherein roles, responsibilities and escalation routes
and mechanisms to address and resolve ongoing, conflicting
& change management issues within both the teams are defined
and documented. |
